With numerous talented local artists putting out fantastic work, Oceanside businesses happy to show the art off, passionate locals pushing art as a priority, and a strong foundation of established art institutes and museums, Oceanside has developed a diverse and welcoming art community that is here to stay! And with this solid footing comes fantastic art events throughout Oceanside for you to enjoy, and now that it is Spring time these events will be happening nearly every week! Paint N Enjoy
Enjoy a beer while feeling artistic! Paint N Enjoy is happening every Wednesday evening from 6-7:30pm at Surfside Tap Room. Relax with a painting session and some pints of your favorite hand-craft beers, seasonal ales, porters, or stouts from local micro-breweries. The painting begins at 6pm and entrance includes paint, canvas, brushes, and lesson.
Anyone who participates receives 15% off their bar tab as well!

Oceanside Art Walk
Starting in 2017, the Oceanside Friends of the Arts will be taking over the Oceanside Art Walk! The event will transition from a monthly one-night event to a quarterly two-day Four Seasons Art Walk. It will continue to involve amazing partners within the community, with visual art, music, performances and interactive projects that are free to the public! Join us as we celebrate our thriving arts district in the heart of downtown Oceanside.
The Oceanside Cultural Consortium (OCC) was established in 2013 with the goal of establishing Oceanside and surrounding communities as an important arts, culture, entertainment and tourism hub/destination. Its members include nearly 50 different Oceanside arts, community, business, and civic organizations.

‘Bad As*’ Women’s Art Expo
The Muramid Mural Museum is hosting the 2nd annual Bad As* Women’s Art Expo, featuring works by or about women from visual artists, musicians, poets, spoken word artists, dancers, and more as part of the celebration of International Women’s Day/Month (March 7 – onward)! The opening reception for this event is March 4th starting at 7pm, and will include live music from Kelly Halloran. Other events will follow throughout the month. Hello Betty Fish House is teaming up with artist Margaret Chiaro for another edition of Palate to Palette on Sunday March 5th at 2 p.m. For $45 students of any level will be instructed step by step how to paint their very own take home master copy of Claude Monet’s Water Lilies. All supplies are included, and Hello Betty will provide guests with their choice of one free glass of house wine or beer. The rooftop selection of tacos and signature raw bar will be available for purchase as well. Hello Betty is offering the perfect combination of art, food, and amazing ocean views, so get your seats now before they’re gone! Must be 21 or older to attend.

A Taste Of Art: Georgia O’Keefe
On Thursday March 9th, 6-8pm, Channel Georgia O’Keefe’s focus on nature and beauty during a brief presentation by Robin Douglas that begins with appetizers and beverages. Then create your own serene painting during the engaging hands-on workshop based on the practices of the mother of American Modernism. Admission is $35 for OMA members, and $45 for visitors. All supplies you’ll need will be provided.

On Wednesday March 22nd, 10-11:30am, parents are invited to explore the Oceanside Museum of Art exhibitions while their kids ages 2–5 experience art, music, and stories. For OMA members the price is $8 for 1 child or $12 for 2+ and for visitors the price is $10 for 1 child or $15 for 2+. There is no fee for the parent. Register online at http://oma-online.org/youth/

Oceanside Days of Art
The 25th annual Oceanside Days of Art will be held on Saturday April 22 and Sunday April 23, 2017, from 10 am to 5 pm. ODA is a juried fine art festival featuring up to and sometimes over 100 local artists selling a variety of unique artwork including paintings, sculptures, stained glass, ceramics, fine jewelry, photography and more. The festival which is offered free to the public has live stage performances, children’s and adult’s hands on art activities, street chalk artist, painting and sculpture demonstrations, and a delicious variety of food choices in the food court.
