Goat Hill Park
Originally built in 1952 as a regulation length 9 hole par 36 layout, Center City Golf Course is historically known as the first golf course in San Diego county. The course was redesigned in the early 90‘s by Ludwig Keehn into an 18 hole short course and became known as “Goat Hill” to locals. It is loved for its ocean views, fresh breeze, authentic atmosphere, and raw golf feel. Quite simply, you will have a hard time finding a more challenging short course with as many unique holes anywhere in the country.
As of July 1st 2014, a new management team lead by local residents John Ashworth, David Emerick, and Geoff Cunningham together with a dedicated staff and volunteer corps of tradesmen and citizens are in the process of renovating and revitalizing Goat Hill Park into a place for recreation and socializing.
Goat Hill Park’s patio is a great casual location for your small gathering as part of your wedding weekend, rehearsal dinners, bachelor and bachelorette parties, guy / girl getaways, and all other celebrations. Goat Hill Park is also available for tournaments.
Disc Golf is also available at Goat Hill Park in Oceanside!
