It’s back! Part party, part runway show, part epic costume contest, ART AFTER DARK: Anatomy of the Surreal transforms the museum into an immersive Halloween experience inspired by David Adey’s Sacrificial Bodies exhibition.

OMA’s signature after-hours event transforms the museum into a creative hive of wearable art, outrageous performances, spooky-good libations, and North County’s biggest costume competition. Use their exhibitions as inspiration and dress to impress the judges at this one-of-a-kind art party and fundraiser. Costumes strongly encouraged, but not required!

Guests can compete for prizes in categories including: Best Upcycled Design, Best Interpretation of Sacrificial Bodies, or Best Interpretation of the Theme: Anatomy of the Surreal.

This is a 21+ event. Come prepared to embrace the uncanny, the unexpected and the wonderfully weird.
