The Vista-based brewery, Belching Beaver, is in the works to build an Oceanside production facility that will later have a tasting room as well.
“Belching Beaver owner Tom Vogel said the facility will allow the company to increase production from about 10,000 barrels a year to about 38,000 barrels to meet demand.
‘We just can’t produce enough beer,’ Vogel said.”
New brewpub by Grant Tondro
2002 S. Coast Highway
Grant Tondro, co-owner of Urge American Gastropub in Rancho Bernardo, has begun preparations for a new Oceanside brewpub on S. Coast Highway.
About 1,500 square feet of the 9,200 square-foot building will house a 10-barrel brewing system. It will also include a bar, dining room and patio. The brewery will have 41 beers on tap including its own list of West Coast style IPAs and hoppy pale ales.”
