The Taco 5k
The Taco 5k
Oceanside, Get Ready to Taco the 5K
The Taco 5K is not your typical 5K. It is a relaxed walking adventure through Oceanside, built around local tacos, community, and a whole lot of fun.
Gather your friends, family, coworkers, or taco-loving teammates and make your way through a scenic route featuring local taco stops. Along the way, you’ll find games, music, photo opportunities, surprise challenges, and plenty of reasons to slow down and enjoy the experience.
There are no timing chips and no pressure to race. Walk at your own pace, eat a taco at every stop, and fiesta your way to the finish.
Why You’ll Love It
🌮 Local Taco Stops
Taste your way through some of Oceanside’s favorite taco destinations.
🏃♂️ A Fun, Noncompetitive 5K
No personal records. No need to rush. Just walk, snack, laugh, and enjoy the route.
🎸 Games, Music and Challenges
The fun continues between taco stops with interactive activities and surprises along the way.
🎭 Costumes Encouraged
Taco-inspired outfits, team costumes, and creative race-day flair are always welcome.
🎉 Made for Crews
Bring your friends, family, coworkers, or anyone who believes tacos are better together.
