The MiraCosta College Symphony Orchestra is honored to accompany the winners of the San Diego City Branch 2023 MTAC (Music Teachers’ Association of California) Concerto Competition. These young artists represent the finest teaching and performing traditions San Diego has to offer. Three soloists will be featured along with a performance of Alan Hovhaness’ iconic work, Symphony No. 2, Op. 132 “Mysterious Mountain.”
