What: This annual beach soccer festival is a competitive tournament for regional and worldwide teams that is also a fun family event on Harbor Beach in Oceanside. The event hosts approximately 300 teams on twenty-eight courts each year. Enjoy Oceanside Harbor, the beach, all of the food vendors, and of course, GREAT soccer!

What:During LGBTQ history month, Oceanside celebrates local LGBTQI organizers who began Pride by the Beach and had a vision of an expansive space free from social stigma where all can be celebrated for who they are, no matter gender expression or orientation. Pride by the Beach brings LGBTQI history to the mainstage in downtown Oceanside.

What: Celebrate the thriving arts and culture scene in the heart of downtown Oceanside. The First Friday: Oceanside Art Walk will showcase live performances, jewelry, pottery, crafts and pop-up art galleries showcased in local businesses and public spaces.

What: First Friday at Tremont Collective returns for another epic night of eats, drinks, music, chain stitching and more! Tremont Collective (Al Fresko, Atacama, Brixton, Bottlecraft, Shootz, Communal, Stab Magazine and Verve) hosts the community the first Friday of each month for live music, art, food, drinks and giveaways. It’s a great place to spend an evening with friends and family.

What: Join the Oceanside Museum of Art on the first Sunday of every month for Art For All. This hands-on-art-making experience is available for all art levels, and is free to the public. What: The Annual Filipino Cultural Celebration is back! The celebration will offer attendees a day filled with Philippine dancing and music, colorful costumes, special performances, and delicious Filipino and international cuisine. In addition, there will be crafts and activities for children in the courtyard of the Civic Center Library Community Rooms. Event admission is FREE and open to the public.

What: The Race Across the West (RAW) is one of the world’s top RAAM Qualifying events. Oceanside, CA to Durango, CO – 860 miles across the rugged American West. Participants cross the Coast Range, Imperial Dunes, Monument Valley and finish in the San Juan Range of SW Colorado.

What: The USA Surfing Championships brings the best surfers and stand-up paddlers from across the country for competition and includes longboard, SUP and adaptive divisions. USA Surfing is the USOPC-recognized National Governing Body for the sport of surfing in the USA. USA Surfing is responsible for holding the USA Surfing Championships each year and selecting, training and fielding Olympic and Intl. USA Surf Teams.

What: Oceanside Museum of Art is the place to find something cool to do on warm Oceanside nights. Join us for Street Level, our recurring ‘block party’ that transforms the museum into a stage for musicians, spoken word artists, dancers, and artists of all kinds. Be inspired by our exhibitions, hit the dance floor, or sit back, sip and snack, and watch the show! Street Level explores the vibrant voices of artists, creators, and entrepreneurs in Southern California at OMA’s biggest social event of the month. Check back each month to see what we’re up to next! What: Join us for the annual Independence Parade as it makes its way north on Coast Highway from Wisconsin Avenue to Civic Center Drive. Come see floats, bands, walking groups, cool cars and much more! The parade starts in front of the 101 Cafe at 10:00 a.m. and works its way north with the first unit of the parade reaching City Hall around 10:15 a.m.

What: Mission San Luis Rey’s 225th Anniversary celebration wouldn’t be complete without the Mission Fiesta! It will be a lively, family-friendly event over an entire weekend. There will be Carnival rides and games, live music, food, a beer garden, fun activities, and of course, we will crown our Fiesta Royalty – Fiesta King and Queen, Fiesta Prince and Princess, and Fiesta Little Prince and Princess.

What: The NSDC NAACP will host its Annual Juneteenth Multicultural Celebration and Jazz Festival. This celebration is free and open to the public! Live Gospel and Jazz entertainment will also be presented throughout the day.

What: USA Surfing invites you to the Junior Seau Pier Amphitheatre for a screening of the documentary “Big Wave: Guardians” that recently premiered at the Oceanside International Film Festival. This important surf safety will pull at your heart strings and teach you about the world of water safety. Written by Oceanside’s own, Jim Kempton, President of the California Surf Museum. Bring your chairs and blankets and join USA Surfing for a great evening celebrating surf!

What: Join us for the annual Independence Parade as it makes its way north on Coast Highway from Wisconsin Avenue to Civic Center Drive (just past City Hall). Come see floats, bands, walking groups, cool cars and much more! The parade starts in front of the 101 Cafe (Coast Highway at Wisconsin Avenue) at 10:00 a.m. and works its way north with the first unit of the parade reaching City Hall around 10:15 a.m. Running time from beginning to end is about two hours. Viewing of the parade is available from the sidewalks along the entire route. Spectators are encouraged to bring folding chairs. The highest concentration of viewers will be on the north end of the route past Seagaze Avenue.
