Visitor Stories:

We’ve had the pleasure of meeting cyclists from all around the world. They come to our Welcome Center and share their stories with us and we’d like to share it with our readers!

Here’s a photo from our visitors from Vancouver. They stayed in Oceanside a couple weeks and explored our awesome bike trails. They plan on coming back in January for a couple more weeks!

Recently we had a cyclist from Poland who started his journey from Nova Scotia, traveled across Canada and made his way to San Diego. He plans to be gone for a year and his journey will continue until he hits Panama. We’re so glad he made Oceanside one of his pitstops; we had a lovely exchange meeting with him!

Back in October we had a visit from Nico, a 26 year old from Germany, who biked all the way from Alaska to Rio, with two of his friends. Originally from Munich, he traveled to the West Coast to embark on this biking journey, while experiencing different cultures within North and South America. Nico stopped by the California Welcome Center and everyone loved him! He was super friendly and it was an absolute pleasure to have him at our facility.
