Me: I want to travel more.
Bank Account: You should probably just extend that work trip.

Seekers of family-fun are invited to play in this seaside getaway.
Dine O’side
Over the last several years, Oceanside has quickly gained a reputation as being one of the leading foodie destinations in San Diego County. Local chefs are making headlines by pushing the limits, creating new and unique menu items and experimenting with classics to bring exquisite and mouth-watering flavors to every plate. Locally coined “flip-flop fine dining,” Oceanside prides itself on providing a high-quality dining experience in a casual atmosphere. Our burgeoning dining scene is all about fresh, locally sourced ingredients, independent style and a collaborative community spirit.
Craft Brew Scene
San Diego County is well known for its variety of local breweries and Oceanside is a key player within the craft beverage movement. Located along the western edge of San Diego’s “Hops Highway,” Oceanside is a craft beer powerhouse with nine craft breweries, and more on the horizon. Taprooms are also a big part of the local brew scene, featuring rotating regional beers and hosting tap take over events inviting customers to experience the different regional beer flavors.
California Cultural District
Oceanside has been named one of 14 California Cultural Districts by the California Arts Council. Cultural districts foster increased opportunities for artists, craftspeople and other small businesses to contribute to local economy, and promote preservation and reuse of historic buildings and other structures. They also provide a focal point for celebrating and strengthening the unique cultural identity of the community and promote opportunity without generating displacement or expanding inequality.
