Night at the Museum at Mission San Luis Rey

Come to Mission San Luis Rey and experience their first Night at the Museum. Enjoy the night exploring our expanded museum after hours. For one night only, you will be able to walk thought the beautiful display of Christmas lights in the Sacred Garden, see the first California Pepper tree closer, enjoy the beauty of the Historic Church illuminated with hundreds of candles at night, and shop during extended hours at the mission gift shop.

• Historical characters and engaging docents in some areas of the museum, church and cemetery
• Enjoy Christmas music and a beautiful nativity and decorations in the Historic Church
• Hot chocolate and sweet bites
• A special Christmas scavenger hunt for the entire family
• Lots of photo opportunities throughout

What you should know:

• For check in, please head to the museum front desk
• Attendees should plan between 60 to 90 minutes for the full experience. Museum and Gift shop will close at 8pm.
• If you want to light a candle in the Historic Church, they will be available for purchase during the event.
• Parking is free. Please do not leave valuables in your car.
• Purchase tickets online. On-site admission will be available on a limited basis.
