Bagby Beer Company is thrilled to present their 3rd annual festival focusing on lager beer! Lagers are unique in both their low temperature for fermentation and their slow progress in becoming finished beer.
Beyond their unique fermentation, lagers are usually recognized by their light color, delicate body, and low ABV — but this is not always the case. Lagers can be as dark in color as a rich stout, and can be deep, roasty and robust; they can even present an elevated alcohol content. There is a ton of diversity when it comes to lagers and we intend to showcase this special family of beer and why we think they are so interesting and delicious!
