Hyatt Hotels Corporation proudly announces the naming of the new Mission Pacific Hotel and The Seabird Resort, both expected to open in Spring 2021 in Oceanside, Calif. The two adjacent hotels will be the newest and largest oceanfront resort development in San Diego County in more than half of a century, collectively spanning 700 feet of beachfront property.

Beach Handball is a growing sport that had its first international competition held on United States soil take place right here in Oceanside on March 8-11, 2018. The Pan American Beach Handball Championships featured teams from around the American continent, competing for the chance to play in the 2018 World Championships!

While RAAM is first and foremost an endurance race, drawing the most intensely driven individuals, it also attracts teams dedicated to the bringing awareness and raising funds for causes or charitable organizations that they’re passionate about; many of whom have a personal connection to their cause. RAAM participants have raised over $1 million for charity in each of the past three years. The Lon Haldeman Award was created to honor racers who raise the most funds for their chosen charity.
