Oceanside Harbor

Oceanside Harbor is quietly tucked away from the unsuspecting individual. But as you drive into the harbor and discover rows of docked sailboats, see people gliding by on top of paddleboards, and the array of restaurants and shops, you quickly realize that you have stumbled upon a true hidden gem. 

The Harbor is primarily known for its water activities including deep-sea fishing, whale watching cruises, and boat rentals, but it is also has wide, sandy beaches and incredible surf conditions.  

The only harbor between Orange County and San Diego, Oceanside is a wonderful location for those traveling by sea along the California shoreline. The Harbor has a fuel dock, launch ramp, bait receiver, and slip rentals available.

Along the east side of the Harbor mouth are large letter that spell “Oceanside.” This sign not only welcomes visitors to the Harbor, but is a great location to snap a photo to document your adventures.

Along the north side of the Harbor is Oceanside Broiler offering fresh seafood and steak with stunning views of the Harbor. Oceanside Harbor Beach

The most northern beach in Oceanside is Harbor Beach. A sandy peninsula, Harbor Beach has stunning ocean views to the west and harbor views to the east. From this unique vantage point you can watch surfers catching a wave or spot a sailboat leaving its dock.

Two rocky jetties protect the harbor from rough seas and preserve its wide, sandy beaches. When the surf conditions are just right, the jetties are popular locations for people to stand and watch the ocean waves crash below them.
