Commuter train travel serves eight coastal stations between Oceanside and downtown San Diego, with 30 daily trips on weekdays and additional service on weekends.

The Sprinter runs east to west from Oceanside to Escondido. One-way, day, and monthly passes are available.

Oceanside is the southern terminus for lines extending northeast to San Bernadino or north to Union Station in LA.
