Remember…
Personal use of consumer fireworks are illegal in the City of Oceanside. Leave it to the professionals!
Why July 3?
Ensuring everyone’s safety is our top priority, and conducting the fireworks celebration a day early aligns with Oceanside’s birthday (incorporated on July 3, 1888), and allows us to allocate the city’s resources efficiently. Since we have tens of thousands of beachgoers on July 4, many of our public safety resources are directed in and around the beach on the fouth. Help us kick off the festivities one day early and make this Independence Day a safe and happy celebration for our city and country.
