O’Arts Festival
The O’Arts Festival celebrates the Oceanside California Cultural District on Saturday October 19th in downtown Oceanside, to highlight what makes Oceanside unique. The Festival has plans to grow year upon year to eventually feature nationally known music acts with local roots, local professional musicians and visual artists, community and youth groups, local action sports and tattoo culture, and authentic local food and drink.
Look for the festival to take place starting at noon across the district in live music venues, restaurants, theaters, museums, galleries, and in Artist Alley.

11am – 5pm : Special Edition of Oceanside Art Walk @ Civic Plaza and Artist Alley

1pm – 4pm : Community Stage featuring Oceanside speakers, presentations, and performances from arts and culture organizations @ Civic Plaza

through 11pm : Venues and businesses around the district with have events and specials to celebrate everything that is Oceanside
About the Festival
The inaugural Oceanside Culture Fest debuted in 2020 in a virtual format, highlighting Oceanside’s musicians and artists, arts and culture organizations, museums and culinary scene.
It was streamed online on Saturday-Sunday, October 17-18, 2020. The event featured performances by Watkins Family Hour, Dead Feather Moon, and Shane Hall recorded in the historic Brooks Theater.
The festival also featured videos from Cadence Dance Project, Cupstacking sport (invented in Oceanside), Fil-Am Cultural Organization, Hill Street Country Club, Noche Mexicana, Oceanside High School’s show choir, Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation, Oceanside Museum of Art, Oceanside Theatre Company, Pride by the Beach, Samoan Cultural Celebration, Visit Oceanside’s Cooking Show Series featuring local chefs and restaurants, and more local and regional artists and organizations.
This event was hosted by the Oceanside CA Cultural District steering committee with title sponsorship by Visit Oceanside. It was produced by Becky Goodman (TenPints Entertainment, Carlsbad Music Festival), Steve Kader (Adams Avenue Street Fair/Adams Avenue Unplugged), and Lou Niles (Oceanside International Film Festival, In Your Neighborhood, 91X).
