Mission San Luis Rey Kid’s Summer Camp
The Franciscan community at Mission San Luis Rey is proud to announce its first-ever Kids’ Summer Camp for 9 to 11 year olds. It will be a week of fun activities in collaboration with people of the San Luis Rey Band of Mission Indians. Children will learn more about Mission San Luis Rey and its history, from the native era to the mission era, including the Franciscan friars today.
Activities will engage children while they learn how people lived in the past, where they come from, and what being part of a community means. Parents will have the opportunity to join us one evening to make a craft with their kids.
It is a great opportunity to get to know more about the local culture, traditions and the 225 year history of Mission San Luis Rey.
Program Price: $225, includes all activities, plus
snack and lunch each day
