“Harbour Chronicles: Shaping a Legacy” Film Screening
Discover the remarkable story of a legendary shaper, an iconic surf shop, and a legacy that helped define California surfing.
Join the California Surf Museum for a special Big Wednesday screening of “Harbour Chronicles: Shaping a Legacy,” followed by a conversation with director Chris Sardelis and other special guests at the historic Sunshine Brooks Theater (217 N. Coast Highway) in Oceanside.
“Harbour Chronicles” is the multi-award-winning documentary celebrating Rich Harbour, the iconic shaper behind Harbour Surfboards — the world’s longest-running surf shop. Thirteen years in the making, this film dives into Harbour’s extraordinary influence through rare footage, surf history, and personal stories from the Seal Beach community he helped shape.
Following the screening, Chris Sardelis and others will take guests behind the scenes of the film, sharing what inspired the project, the challenges of bringing it to life, and the stories that could not be left untold.
