The Behind-the-Scenes tours at Mission San Luis Rey are filled with history and beauty. Join a 75-minute walk through the mission grounds, led by trained docents who are both entertaining and knowledgeable. Learn about the history of Spanish America, California and Mission San Luis Rey while you enjoy beauty of the Mission’s gardens and grounds, which are normally restricted.
Cost: Adults – $12 per person
Youth under 18, Seniors, and Active Military – $10 per person
Advanced registration is required.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your tour to check in. We recommend comfortable shoes, and during sunny weather, bottled water, a hat, and sunscreen.
