Neighborhood Spotlight – Inland Valley

The Inland Valley boasts a blend of interests, from historical landmarks and cultural heritage to adrenaline-junkie adventures and thriving agricultural spaces. Much of the inland region is made up of residential communities, each adding a unique element of cultural diversity and interest to the beach lifestyle mix.


Go skateboarding at one of five Oceanside Skateparks, open daily during daylight hours. Skateboarding has deep roots in the city, as many professional athletes call Oceanside home. Take a private or group lesson with a pro via Stomp Sessions.


Guajome Regional Park is 394 beautiful acres perfect for hiking, fishing, biking, wildlife watching, and simply enjoying the great outdoors with the entire family.

Along the eastern edge of the city sits the agricultural neighborhood of South Morro Hills, where Beach House Winery blends local award-winning wine. Open weekends for tastings or by appointment.


Mission San Luis Rey is the largest of the California Missions. The grounds are open daily for self-guided tours; behind-the-scenes tours are offered most weekends.
