First Friday at Tremont Collective
What: First Friday at Tremont Collective returns for another epic night of eats, drinks, music, chain stitching and more! Tremont Collective (Al Fesko, Atacama, Brixton, Bottlecraft, Shoots, Communal, Stab Magazine and Verve) hosts the community the first Friday of each month for live music, art, food, drinks and giveaways. It’s a great place to spend an evening with friends and family.

Cinco de Mayo Nerd Comedy at The Brooks Theatre
What: Get ready to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in style with the hilarious comedian Rene Garcia! Labeled the Latino Jerry Lewis, Rene is one of the most entertaining and energetic humorists on the circuit today. He is a master of comedy, with a quick wit and a talent for making audiences of all ages laugh. Rene’s strong audience connection and blend of clever observations and relatable anecdotes will have you in stitches.

First Friday Downtown Art Walk
What: Celebrate the thriving arts and culture scene in the heart of downtown Oceanside. The First Friday: Oceanside Art Walk will showcase live performances, jewelry, pottery, crafts and pop-up art galleries showcased in local businesses and public spaces.

Mother’s Day is Sweet

Change Your Mind Festival
What: The goal of Change Your Mind is to encouraging candid conversations about mental health in a fun and stress-free environment. Attendees of all ages can participate in a full day of workshops, performances, and wellness-related experiences.

What: OMA welcomes friends and neighbors on Free First Sundays, our fun hands-on art-making experience led by artists and cultural partners from our community. Whether you’re new to art or have your own creative flow, Art For All is the time to let your imagination soar. Each month OMA invites community partners to create an art-making experience for all levels. Participants are encouraged to spark inspiration by visiting current exhibitions. Explore different art-making materials through creative projects at each session while learning from local and regional artists. Check back each month to see what we’re up to next!

Oceanside Harbor Wine Cruise
What: Join Oceanside Adventures and Beach House Winery for a 90-minute evening cruise aboard a luxurious catamaran through the beautiful Oceanside Harbor. The cruise features an appetizer platter and three tastes of wines from Beach House Winery. Cost is $49 per person, 21 and over.

O’side Bakery Local Market
What: A day of recognition to all active-duty military stationed on Marine Corps Base Camp Joseph H. Pendleton and nearby military bases. The day consists of activities including a children’s fun zone with inflatable jumps, rock climbing wall, kid’s crafts and face painting. All Active Duty Military and their dependents must bring an Active Duty Military ID Card to get unlimited activities and a free lunch.

“Good People” at The Brooks Theatre
What: Join Oceanside Theatre Company for a production of Good People at The Brooks Theatre. When Margie Walsh gets fired from yet another job, her landlord threatens eviction. Determined to keep a roof over her daughter’s head, she turns to a former friend for help finding a job. From the moment she steps into Dr. Michael Dillon’s office, tensions mount in this reunion of old friends as they navigate the decisions that led them down different life paths. An emotional, heartfelt drama broken up by poignant moments of laugh-aloud humor, “Good People” by David Lindsay-Abaire will have audiences debating what it means to do the right thing.

Sip, Paint and Gaze
What: Join Cynthia’s Artistic Expressions every Friday 5pm-7pm to “Sip, Paint and Gaze” on the rooftop of the Mission Pacific Resort painting the Oceanside Pier.
Find inspiration from the coastal views, and paint a masterpiece. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase to fuel your inspiration.
