Popular cycling event in Oceanside that’s fun for the whole family. All riders welcome! 

Join riders of all levels and ages while experiencing the best of the Southern California beaches and surf towns as you ride routes of 7, 15, 25, 50 or 100 miles. Everything starts and finishes on the beach at the spectacular venue of the Oceanside Pier with food, music, expo shopping and fun!

Get out and explore our beautiful city by bike! Oceanside is designated a bicycle friendly city by the League of American Bicyclists. Whether you are riding a beach cruiser or collecting miles wearing spandex, Oceanside is a great place to ride a bike. If you’re looking to take your family on an active family vacation or are looking for unique bike tours, considering joining us in Oceanside for this fun ride that’s appropriate for all skill levels.

Cycling clubs and fitness groups looking for a bike-friendly destination should plan to travel to Oceanside for the Bike the Coast event. Due to the various routes available, it’s perfect for all fitness abilities and goals. You’re even permitted to bring pretty much any type of cycle, including pedal assisted and e-bikes. Don’t have a bike or don’t want to hassle with it when traveling? Either ship your bike out ahead of time or rent your choice of bike in Oceanside.
