Oceanside has been a hotspot for local artists to showcase their talent for decades. Not only have local restaurants and shops supported the San Diego music scene, Oceanside has been home to many famed acts in our Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre (Junior Seau Pier Amphitheatre) such as The Black Keys, Credence Clearwater Revisited, Walk the Moon, and many more.
We hope to see you out and about at our multiple music festivals and live music nights this summer in the city of Oceanside!

Concerts in the Park
The City of Oceanside Parks and Recreation division invites all to attend one of the Concerts in the Park events being held this summer. Come early and bring your blanket or beach chair. Food and drink vendors will be on site for these events.
On July 15th, the Greg Douglas Band will be performing at Rancho del Oro Park. Come and enjoy classic rock, eighties pop, funky Southern Rock to heart-rending Van Morrison ballads. Everyone will enjoy this fun band as you walk down memory lane. Pre-show entertainment will begin at 5:00pm.
July 17th is “Honor Our Police” Day at Heritage Park from 4:00pm – 6:00pm featuring music by Taylor Tickner and Robert Parker.
July 24th is Karaoke Day at Heritage Park from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. Stop by to sing a song with DJ Hoke and Debbie Simon.
July 31st is Open Mike Day at Heritage Park from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. Come and show off your talent, play an instrument or sing a song with Tom Frankum and Jon Rider.
On August 14th, the Santana Tribute band, Santanaways, will be performing at Melba Bishop Park. The pre-show entertainment will begin at 2:00pm followed by Santanaways from 3:00pm – 5:00pm.

O’side Outside
Feeding the Soul is putting on their annual summer concert series, O’side Outside, which began on June 18th.
The next concert of O’Side Outside will be held at Surfside Tap Room on July 16th, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. This concert will feature performances by Barnwell Shift, Lee Coulter, and Billy Galewood. General admission tickets for this O’side Outside concert are $25 and can be purchased online.
The final concert of O’side Outside series will be held at Goat Hill Park on August 20th from 4:00pm – 7:00pm. This concert will feature performances by The Pom-Poms, Billy Galewood, and Lee Koch. General admission tickets for the final O’side Outside Concert are $30 and can be purchased online.

FM 94.9 Independence Jam
On Saturday September 10th, FM 94/9 will bring a great lineup of 7 bands to the Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre. Gates open at 3:00pm and include performances by X Ambassadors, Broods, Kaleo, Pop Etc, Bishop Briggs, Barns Courtney and The Wind + The Wave. Check out the sand, the surf, the food trucks, the music, and the fun at the unique location of the amphitheatre just yards from the Pacific Ocean! General admission tickets are just $25 with a VIP upgrade for $15. Tickets are on sale now.

Local Music Hot Spots
If you are looking for things to do late night in Oceanside, The Pour House is your spot! The Pour House offers local music, libations and dining from 11am-2am daily. With a mixture of open mic nights, karaoke and various local bands, most nights at the Pour House are for the 21+ crowd. Located at 1903 S Coast Hwy, their eclectic menu still invites the younger patrons to try the sliders, truffle fries and twist on your average mac and cheese.
But great live music can be found all week long across the City of Oceanside. Stop by Legacy Brewing Company on Tuesdays or Junkyard Grill on Saturdays.
