Two-Day Workshop at Oceanside Museum of Art: Interdisciplinary Sculpture

Two-Day Workshop at Oceanside Museum of Art: Interdisciplinary Sculpture

MONDAY & WEDNESDAY, MAY 3 AND 5

Be inspired by newly installed indoor and outdoor sculpture on display at OMA to create your own 3-D work of art! Join Robin Douglas for a hands-on exploration of a variety of methods and materials, highlighting the diverse approaches of several artists including Faith Ringold’s soft sculpture, Marisol Escobar’s segmented objects, and Louise Nevelson’s geometric abstract architectural forms. All supplies for your original artwork will be provided, but feel free to bring in additional materials or found objects you wish to work with as well.  Limited space is available. This event will be held onsite at OMA in compliance with CDC, state, and county guidelines. Sanctioned social distancing will be followed and masks that cover both the nose and mouth are required to be worn at all times.
