The Tri-City Medical Center is hosting the Senior 1 Mile Run or Walk taking place along the strand. This event is for all seniors 65 years and over, and awards will be given out in 5 year age groups starting at 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80-84; 85-89; 90-94 and 95+. The cost is $30, and each senior participating will receive a t-shirt, Tri-City Medical Center backpack, custom Trot medal and Senior 1-Mile neck ribbon. The schedule of events includes the 65 yrs. and over 1 Mile run starting at 9 a.m, the 65 yrs. and over walk or push 1 mile at 9:30 a.m., and the 65 yrs. and over 400 meters walk, walk with a walker, or push at 10 a.m. To register visit Senior Mile Registration.
