Due to event restrictions due to Covid-19, the 2020 event has been canceled.
Tiki swimmers begin their adventure with a mass start that takes them out and around the City of Oceanside’s iconic fishing pier. Once past the pier, our swimmers turn north for a fast and straight swim towards the Oceanside Harbor, where half way into the 2.4 course, the 1.2 mile swimmers will merge onto the same course following their own mass start from the Harbor Beach. The TikiSwim is the only time swimmers can legally swim through the Oceanside Harbor mouth and once inside the Oceanside Small Craft Harbor, the Tiki swimmers will enjoy the calm protected waters to turn on the afterburners for a true “finishing kick” finishing at the boat launch ramps. All swimmers will receive original finisher medals, a beach towel, visor, and a fresh breakfast burrito.
