The San Diego District Lions Club will be sponsoring a Good Ol’ Summertime Carnival at Heritage Park in Oceanside. The Lions Club will be giving the community an opportunity for fun, while raising funds for this historic park. This event will include games, rides and a petting zoo, as well as, a talent show, a pie baking contest, and a watermelon eating contest. Children can dress up in Old Time, Country or Western wear for the Costume Contest.  There will also be vendors and food trucks at the Carnival. Admission to this event is free.
