The Umoja Program is hosting its 4th annual fundraiser to support our students Saturday, February 4. For those that have attended in the past you know that Soul Fusion is a fun and enjoyable way to kick-off our Black History Month activities. Soul Fusion is a mixture of R-n-B, Gospel, Jazz, and Spoken Word poetry and will feature Damien Lawson, Season 7 finalist on the musical show The Voice. The proceeds will go towards funding scholarships and provide emergency assistance for students experiencing challenges during the semester. VIP tickets are $20.00 each and General Admission $10.00. Tickets can be purchased at giving.miracosta.edu
If you are unable to attend, donations are always welcome, or you may sponsor our students. As always we appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at Soul Fusion.
