The 2018 Save the Waves Film Festival will kick off its North American leg with a premier in Oceanside, CA from August 10-11, 2018. The film festival features beautiful and inspiring environmental surf films, featuring filmmakers from over a dozen countries – from first-time filmmakers with a passion for storytelling, to legendary auteurs in the field. This year also marks the 10th Anniversary celebration that will include beach clean-ups, surf board demos, skills-based workshops, art shows, and round-tables on local environmental issues. The Save the Waves Film Festival is the world’s only international surf and environmental film festival which aims to educate and inspire audiences to protect the coastlines and oceans.
