The Oceanside Museum of Art is hosting a Mixed Media Art Class Series, starting with a beginner session on April 17th. No experience necessary in this introductory class with Eustacia Riley. Explore art history images for inspiration to create an expressive mixed media landscape. One week later on April 24th an intermediate class will be held, where Eustacia will guide the class through an expressive exercise using collage and art materials to create an abstract or figurative contrast of texture, tone, and shape. Participants can bring their own photographs or source from supplied materials. Some art experience recommended. All materials needed will be supplied for both classes.
