MiraCosta Horticulture Club Workshop & Meeting
The MiraCosta Horticulture Club is hosting a meeting at MiraCosta College, January 14th at 12:30PM, with a planned workshop by Barbara Premo and Sue Mc Donell that will teach you how to make beautiful centerpieces using Driftwood and Succulents. In addition, the main speaker of this meeting will be Mel Resendiz, the Owner of Resendiz Brothers Protea Growers llc, one of the largest California suppliers of Australian and South African floral products and plants . Mr. Resendiz will provide a history of Resendiz Brothers and a review of the multiple species they raise and sell. He will also be discussing the growing culture and care of proteacae. After the main speaker is finished there will be a plant raffle!
The meetings generally finish around 3PM, and are open to the public.
The location is One Barnard Dr., Oceanside, Student Center Bldg. 3400, Aztlan Rooms A & B 2nd Floor. For more information call 760 721 3281.
