Home and Garden Art Collection Tour
Long-time Oceanside residents and art collectors Darrell and Loren Dixon are opening up their unique home built in 1928 on Sunday September 10th for the Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation Fall Fest 2017 fundraiser. You will get to tour the Dixon’s ‘home-built’ museum featuring several floors filled with beautiful sculptures, mosaics and paintings, a fairy cottage, a tree house, a secret doorway, a hidden stair case and more. “You can walk into a room and each time you do, something new will catch your eye.” said Loren Dixon during a preview tour of her home. In addition the tour will feature musical entertainment, wine and beer, appetizers, as well as desserts for you to enjoy. There will also be prizes such as theatre tickets, art work from the Dixon Collection, and passes for OMA, OIFF and OMFest. Reservations are required, the address will be given when your reservation is confirmed via email. Admission is $40 per person if purchased before 9/4, or $50 per person if purchased after 9/4.
