Our neighbor to the North, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, celebrates its 75th anniversary this year! In commemoration Dick Rothwell, President of the Camp Pendleton Historical Society, will be sharing the history of the base and its early beginning as Rancho Santa Margarita in the Oceanside Public Library Community Rooms. This program is brought to you by the Oceanside Historical Society and is free to the public. In addition, guests will receive a free copy of the commemorative magazine published by the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce for Camp Pendleton’s 75th anniversary.
