Friends of Oceanside Parks, North County Model Railroad Society and
North and Heritage Park Village Museum invite you to Heritage Park 40th
Anniversary Celebration, Sunday July 10th from 1-6pm. Come celebrate
with friends, neighbors, food, fun and music. Free parking is located in
the rear of the park.
In 1975, the City was gifted an old county public works yard, and the
City fathers decided to build a Bicentennial project called Heritage
Park.  During the next year, houses and buildings were moved into
position, a committee was formed, and docents began to give tours of how
life was around the early 1900’s.  In 1976, Heritage Park opened.
Sunday Concerts in Heritage Park will take place on July 17th, 24th,
and 31st from 4 pm to 6 pm. Updates on band schedules and other
