The City of Oceanside Parks & Recreation and the Friends of Oceanside Parks welcome you to the “Grand Spanish American War Reenactment” at Heritage Park in Oceanside. This free event will take place on both Saturday and Sunday, and will consist of a military parade with volunteers such as the Rough Riders, Buffalo Soldiers and the “1898” Mayor of Oceanside, along with music, horse drawn carriages, a ladies’ fashion show, special activities for children, tours of historical buildings and more. The Ice Cream Parlor will also be open in addition to various other food vendors for you to enjoy. For more information call 951-239-2355.
