BRO-AM draws 15,000 people to Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, CA for a unique “more bro than pro” charity surf contest, Rob Machado Bro Junior surf contest, surf joust expression session, beach concert, vendors and activities. This is a free, family-friendly event on July 9th, 2016.
This event was the original idea of the band Switchfoot, who were looking to give back to their hometown community after they had toured and traveled the world in 2005. Over a decade later, their charitable idea has become an iconic San Diego event.
