Art Making With Non-Traditional Materials
Using a variety of found and manufactured materials students will create multi-scaled objects. Printing, drawing, folding, painting, up-cycling, stitching, and knotting will be used in non traditional ways in group and individual exercises led by Robin Douglas. Inspiration will be drawn from the current exhibits at OMA and the artist El Anatsui.This is a 3 day workshop that takes place Tuesday through Thursday January 31st – February 2nd from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Supplies needed: Any materials, media, multiples, non-toxic objects that you have on hand. Many supplies will also be provided.
