Art Exhibit: Out of Body

Art Exhibit: Out of Body

Out of Body brings together three figurative painters whose work transcends academic tradition in the overlay of physical reality with an otherworldly existence. Alla Bartoshchuk applies symbolism through private, imaginative images that arise from the depth of the psyche and embrace the surreal quality of dreams, fantasies and premonitions. Kurosh Yahyai researches the anxious and existential nature of the human mind to help visualize, portray and make tangible the battle within the conscious and subconscious mind. Leslie Nemour secludes unsettled transitional moments from film to suggest a disconnection between memory and the conscious self. This art exhibit is located at MiraCosta College, BLDG 3400 Student Center – OC3419 (Kruglak Gallery), and is free and open to the public. For more information call (760)795-6657 or email Diane Adams at dadams@miracosta.edu .
