The highly anticipated Agritourism Documentary funded by the County of San Diego’s Board of Supervisors 2017-2018 Community Enhancement Grant will be premiered at the Brooks Theatre in downtown Oceanside. This documentary features interviews with musician and local farm owner Jason Mraz, Eric Larson from the San Diego County Farm Bureau, several local farmers, City of Oceanside staff, Restaurateurs, Chefs and more. This documentary focuses on the importance of having sustainable farmland in the local community, and highlights existing Agritourism experiences throughout North County San Diego such as Myrtle Creek, Bates Nut Farm, Cyclops Farms, Beach House Winery, Carlsbad Strawberry Company, State Street Farmers Market in Carlsbad Village and the Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch. This event will also include a musical performance by Barnwell Shift, complimentary appetizers and beverages, as well as several guest speakers including Oceanside Mayor Peter Weiss, San Diego County Supervisor Bill Horn.
