Wrinkle Free Packing Tips
With summer almost here, it’s time to start thinking about vacations. And unless you keep a fully-stocked second home at the beach (and if you do, we should be friends), you will need to pack your suitcases as you head off on your summer adventures. Here are some travel tips that will help you to keep your clothes neat and wrinkle free, and help allow you to spend more time enjoying the sights and less time ironing.
Roll your clothes
Rolling your clothes not only keeps the wrinkles at bay, but also saves space and allows you to pack more stuff into your suitcase. And with airlines charging a premium these days in luggage fees, saving space is not only wrinkle-smart, but economical too!
Use dryer sheets to eliminate static
Pack a couple of dryer sheets in your suitcase. When you arrive at your destination, take your clothes out and either hang them or put them in drawers. If static electricity has built up during your trip, a quick rubdown with a dryer sheet will eliminate the problem.
This is hands-down the greatest invention since the butler. Wrinkle-release spray does just that—you spray it on, wait a couple of minutes and then smooth the wrinkles out of your clothes. No muss, no fuss, no iron.
Hang clothing near the shower
If you’ve tried everything and you’re still a little wrinkly, this trick is as old as time. Hang your clothing in the bathroom, and the steam from your shower should take the wrinkles out in no time flat. Just make sure that the water from the shower isn’t aimed directly at them, or you’ll have more to worry about than a few wrinkles.
