Oceanside, CA is only a 15 minute drive from the ultimate theme park for LEGO lovers everywhere—LEGOLAND California! Here’s what’s happening at the Park this summer.
LEGO Legends of Chima Water Park
CHIMA Water Park just opened this past May, and is based on the LEGO Group’s newest hit product “Legends of Chima”, where animal tribes battle in a mystical land for control of the precious energy source called “CHI”.
The new water park features several themed sections that are named after the various Legends of Chima characters. Cragger’s Splash, for example, is a hands-on water play area with more than 50 interactive water play features, a massive crocodile head slide, blast water cannons and more!
The centerpiece of CHIMA Water Park is the Lion Temple Wave Pool, which is great for young kids. Water cascades down an iconic 30-foot tall floating “Mount Cavora” which shows the eight animals representing each animal tribe.
THE LEGO MOVIE EXPERIENCE
The LEGO Movie was a huge hit at the box office—and now you can experience the real movie set first hand at LEGOLAND California! At THE LEGO MOVIE EXPERIENCE you can step onto the soundstage, check out actual movie footage, explore some of the awesome models from The LEGO Movie itself, and even get a chance to meet Emmet and Wyldstyle!
