Dia de los Muertos has been celebrated for thousands of years by Mexican and Indigenous people to honor and remember relatives and loved ones who have passed away through the four elements of earth, wind, fire and water. The weekly Sunset Market will be transformed into Oceanside’s Haunted Market. To keep everyone in the Halloween spirit, Halloween Music will be playing all evening. There will also be a costume parade and evil laugh contest.
The Oceanside Museum of Art will be hosting the next Art After Dark event on October 30, 2015 from 7pm-10pm. Jumping off of the themes in the Baby Tattoo exhibit, this event is a mash-‐up of everything artistic, entertaining and avant-‐grade and a Halloween event not to be missed.
