Looking for a music-filled weekend getaway to take you away from the hustle and bustle of the weekday work life? If so, you might want to add KAABOO, happening Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, to your calendar!
KAABOO coins the weekend as a “Mix-Perience” event focusing on stimulating all five of your senses; this unique trait will surely keep you from thinking this is just another big name music festival.
Hosting internationally renowned bands like No Doubt, The Killers, Snoop Dogg, 311, Switchfoot, and more with plenty of well-known small, local bands to fill in the gaps will make this event epic. Offering more than just music, KAABOO has gourmet cuisine, craft libations, inspiring art, comedy, and comfort. Moreover, for every ticket sold, a dollar is split between Feeding America, YMCA, San Diego Music Foundation, and the Surfrider Foundation.
*Tickets start at $125 per day, and up to $2499 for a VIP 3-day pass. Click here to explore the different single-day and weekend pass options!

31st Annual Coastal Cleanup
Everyone is invited to the 31st Annual Coastal Cleanup on September 19 from 9 am to noon, aiming to clean up the areas throughout Oceanside near beaches and rivers.
Though this is a statewide event, Oceanside locals have the opportunity to participate at five locations including three locations along Buena Vista Creek and two beach locations of the Oceanside Pier and Buccaneer Beach. Sponsored by Rubio’s Restaurants, volunteers are encouraged to focus on picking up cigarette butts, plastic bags and plastic pollutants that harm the ocean, its inhabitants, and ecosystems. Please join in and help keep our ocean and beaches clean so that all can continue to enjoy its wonders and beauty!
