What is Balboa Park’s Rock & Roll Finale?
In honor of the Balboa Park Centennial Celebration, there have been special activities and events happening since the month of June, and the Rock & Roll Finale will be the final exciting event of the season.
You will have a chance to view classic 50s cars, join in on hula hooping and dance lessons, all starting at 5:30pm. Then The Legends, San Diego’s Original Oldies Show Band, will be performing a live concert at 6:30pm at famous and historical Spreckels Organ Pavilion. Feel free to come early and set up a picnic for your friends and family. You won’t want to miss out on this fun 1950s-themed party!

Traveling to Balboa Park from Oceanside
If you are coming from Oceanside, the best way to get to Balboa Park is by taking the Interstate 5 South (I-5 S) all the way to Downtown or you can take the I-5 South to the 805 South and from there hop onto the CA -163 South towards Downtown. Balboa Park: 1549 El Prado San Diego, CA 92101

On August 29th Gregory Page and Friends will be having a Centennial Celebration Concert with guests including actor John C. Reilly, San Diego folklorist Lou Curtiss, North Dakota singer-songwriter Tom Brosseau, and others! Also, starting on September 17, 2015 Balboa Park will be hosting a 3-day Harmony and Motion International Music and Dance Festival. This will feature a wide variety of music and dancing from a wide variety of cultures from around the world.
