DESCRIPTION:The Oceanside Intl Film Festival is pleased to announce a Special One-on-One Conversation with famed Writer, Director & Producer Catherine Hardwicke. The Festival has been no stranger to welcoming industry veterans to its events throughout the years. OIFF 2026 will be no different with this spotlight retrospective of the Hollywood legend. \n\nThis Retrospective Conversation with Hardwicke will commence on Saturday, February 28th at 6:40pm at The Star Theatre, preceding the Festival’s 2026 closing Award Show. Moderated by OIFF Co-Programming & Artistic Director, Carly Starr Brullo-Niles, the interview will cover multiple highlights of the TWILIGHT & LORDS OF DOGTOWN Director’s extensive career. There will also be a generous amount of time devoted for audience member questions, allowing fans the chance to speak directly with Hardwicke. \n\nTickets for this Event also include Entry into OIFF 2026’s Closing Award Show at 8:00pm. Our Award Show will feature over 20 Awards in a Variety of Categories with Sepcial Guest Presenters on The Star Theatre Stage. The OIFF 2026 Grand Jury is a private group comprised of industry professionals who remain separate from festival staff & programmers throughout the year. The Grand Jury do not interact nor delegate with one another during their voting window to ensure a fair and unbiased process. \n\nNominations will be released closer to our event dates.
