What: Join riders of all levels and ages while experiencing the best of the Southern California beaches and surf towns as you ride routes of 7, 15, 25, 50 or 100 miles. Everything starts and finishes on the beach at the spectacular venue of the Oceanside Pier with food, music, expo shopping and fun!
Get out and explore our beautiful city by bike! Oceanside is designated a bicycle friendly city by the League of American Bicyclists. Whether you are riding a beach cruiser or collecting miles wearing spandex, Oceanside is a great place to ride a bike. If you’re looking to take your family on an active family vacation or are looking for unique bike tours, considering joining us in Oceanside for this fun ride that’s appropriate for all skill levels.

What: Join the first annual Valley Arts Festival, a celebration of the vibrant arts & culture in the Oceanside Valley. This free family-friendly festival will feature Native American flute music, Native American blues music, Indian Fry Bread, educational tables, interactive community mural, basket weaving, storytelling, native animal sand & rock painting and more family-friendly activities!

What: San Diego Beer Week is a 10-day celebration of the breweries that make San Diego County the capital of craft beer. Running November 3-12, 2023, events promoting our unique beer culture and world-class brew will be taking place across the county at participating breweries, bars, and restaurants including many right here in Oceanside!

What: The mission of Fleet Week San Diego is to honor, celebrate, and thank the men and women of the military through public events and alliances that increase public awareness of the many contributions made by the Military and the Defense Community to the San Diego Region. Fleet Week San Diego was created by community and business leaders who understood the great depth of public support for our Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen. This group sought to provide a means for San Diego to express its support in a way that would establish San Diego as a patriotic, pro-military city. They shared a vision to recognize the contributions made by the naval services to the many communities of the greater San Diego region.

What: Recognized as one of the Top Trots in the country by Runner’s World Magazine and the Los Angeles Times, the trot attracts visitors from 46 States and 460 cities. We invite you to come “move your feet before you eat” this Thanksgiving at Oceanside’s Annual Turkey Trot 5 mile or 5K run/walk. Join one of the fastest growing holiday traditions. Be sure to bring the whole family, as there will be races for everyone. Event offers a costume contest, largest teams competition, fabulous live entertainment on the course and finisher medals for all participants. Free digital photos, medals, shirts, and timing to all registered participants.
