With 60+ volunteers that operate the center daily there is always a wealth of great information there to take advantage of.

Oceanside Military Reunion: Recon 50

50 years ago, a group of brave young Marines were sent into Vietnam for covert missions as the eyes and ears for both land and air operations. These acts of service and valor forged a bond like no other: but returning to civilian life in their various hometowns had made it difficult to keep in touch over the years.

Veterans Memorial Garden

The Veterans Memorial Garden on Camp Pendleton is a peaceful space overlooking the Pacific Ocean, paying tribute to veterans and active-duty service members. That garden is the home to various military monuments including Staff Sergeant Reckless, Prisoners of War, and Chosin Few.

Oceanside Brews & Bites

A spotlight on three great breweries in Oceanside serving up great beer, delicious food, and lots of fun! Oceanside boasts 10 microbreweries that make up a portion of the legendary San Diego North County Hop’s Highway, home to a third of the county’s 150+ breweries. In addition Oceanside has fostered a renowned and flourishing culinary scene, which when paired with the world class breweries makes for a great time!

A Collectors Brew- Greetings from Oceanside

Visit Oceanside has partnered with Midnight Jack Brewing Company for an inaugural Oceanside brewery collaboration project. This special campaign includes a custom beer recipe highlighting the distinctive flavors of the region and a colorful custom label, capturing the unique personality of the city. Greetings from Oceanside is a limited release brew available in a collector’s can and on draft at select Oceanside restaurants, tap rooms, and hotels.
